Building with A.I.

Inspired by "Office Space", you are an undervalued employee of FutrSite, a construction company known for their cheap, quick turn around design jobs. Often cutting corners to put an extra dollar back in their pockets. You have been tasked to work with a new Robotic A.I. Laborer Assistant to complete a new design quickly. What they don't tell you is the AI is known to malfunction if it's regulator gets overclocked, often becoming non responsive or worse.

This is a simple solo roll and draw a card game about strategy and luck. 

• Roll a D6, which represents the amount of supplies your AI laborer can place.
• You can place the supplies in any of the design areas, clearly marked with the amount of supplies needed to complete that section. 
• You must complete all sections of the design. You can NOT split up the supplies into multiple sections. 
• If you roll a ONE or a SIX on the die or if you can not place the supplies who rolled into a section, you must draw a card from a standard deck of playing cards.
• The number on the card gets added to the Robot's Function Bar. Once it hits 100%, the robot malfunctions and the design is lost 

Can you fill the squares and complete the project before the A.i Robot Laborer malfunctions? If you do, then you are up for a PERFORMANCE REVIEW where you hand in a R.O.T. file (recording of the game) and you add up the metrics provided in hopes you can be promoted.

**I've added the promotional element as well as some tables on the backside of the page for some more fun elements that are flushed out on the paperwork, hopefully creating a feeling similar to the ones the characters in the movie OFFICE SPACE felt about their jobs.  The solo rpg elements are more flavorful journalling prompts like explaining the complications you gain whenever pulling a FACE CARD (which are large amounts of points added to your robot) as well as a side character in the form of an INTERN once you get your first promotion.

GAMES are typically 10-15 mins long but could be up to 25/30 mins each design. There is 3 promotions to gain to have "completed" the game as well as a d6 table of different designs to run through.

This game was inspired by a challenge presented in TUMULUS 01:Do Not Trust Robots by Skeleton Code Machine and created for ONE-PAGE RPG JAM 2025.  

The name is contradictory since there was no AI used in the building of this game. The cover Image is stock footage edited and designed over top.
